Well, the election is less than 3 weeks away, so the lies about Connecticut’s economy from the Malloy administration are back and better than ever. Just weeks after telling his department heads that we are facing yet another budget deficit, Gov. Dan Malloy told State Comptroller Kevin Lembo that everything is awesome! One of these things is untrue.
If we look at Gov. Malloy’s history of blatantly lying to the citizens of Connecticut just prior to important elections, it’s very hard not to imagine that he is once again lying to help keep his party in power in Hartford so they can implement new taxes, fees, revenue enhancements, whatever you want to call them.
It’s going to get a whole lot more expensive to live in Connecticut if this lie works. Again. And sadly, it will. And the economy here will continue to bounce along the bottom, politically-connected friends will continue to receive millions in government “loans” and businesses small and large who are not connected will continue to either close or move out. It’s the inevitable result of Malloy’s policies and he has shown no evidence of changing.
Meanwhile, the lies keep coming louder and larger from his party, up and down the ballot. And I am seriously sick of being treated like an idiot. Anyone who believes these lies is either a fool or cares more about power than about honesty.
Another fun show. Great topics and a great guest, plus MJ’s drink.
