Special Edition Saturday, March 19, 2016

Another spirited show, with the usual suspects and our guest, attorney and conservative writer Gabriel Malor from the Federalist and National Review Online, among many other sites and publications.

Gabe joins us to discuss the impact of President Obama’s nominee to replace the late Justice Antonin Scalia, Merritt Garland, in light of the Senate and House Republican leaders’ refusal to consider any of Obama’s nominees during his last year as President.

Oh, and check out the “blue” shirt:

Talk of the Town, March 14, 2016

One more time filling in for Larry on Talk of the Town and it’s a busy one.  Great guests and lots of great callers.

In the first hour, I speak with Peter Trabucco, the author of America’s Top Roller Coasters and Amusement Parks

At 11:10, I speak with Michael Grosso, Ph. D. and author of The Man Who Could Fly: St. Joseph of Copertino and the Mystery of Levitation.  Also, in the second hour, I speak with Len Suzio regarding Connecticut’s early release program and the danger in which it is placing Connecticut’s citizens.  If you want to help Len, you can go here and sign the petition to end the early release program.

In the third hour, we get things rocking with my guest Kurt Schlichter, retired Army Colonel, LA attorney, columnist for and frequent Fox News and CNN guest.  Kurt and I hilariously analyze all of the remaining Republican candidates in the primary race and the results are not good for anyone.

We also speak with Susan Bigelow about the proposed elimination of the minimum liquor pricing laws in Connecticut, as well as break down the story behind the attempts by the Schaghticoke Tribal Nation to regain federal recognition for their tribe, with some rather surprising help.

Special Edition Saturday, March 12, 2016

As usual, the show was over far too quickly, but we had some great discussions. including Tom’s business news of the week. and Dave’s always hilarious joke.

Our guest this Saturday is Daniel Payne, senior contributor for The Federalist, as well as the proprietor of his own blog, Trial of the Century.  We talk with Danial about this column, where he turns away from the attention that the Republican Presidential candidates have been receiving to take a look at the candidates for the Democrat nomination.

Be sure to listen for MJ’s drink of the week. It’s … interesting. And, it seems, not cheap if you are ordering it while out.
