Special Edition Saturday – October 24, 2015

Well, our guests bailed on us, but that’s okay. We know how to fill a couple of hours with interesting stuff while having a bunch of laughs along the way.

Stay until near the end if you want to listen to a fascinating discussion between Ben and Steve re: global warming climate change and just exactly how much impact humans are really having. We never exactly answer that question, because, honestly, NO ONE CAN!!

But PANIC!!!!!! seems to always be the message from the enviro-loons, regardless of the science. How sad it must be, to go through life searching for something, ANYthing to be afraid of…..

Or could it be… these same people who are telling us that the end is near might actually have an ulterior motive?

“This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the Industrial Revolution.” – Christiana Figueres, executive secretary of U.N.’s Framework Convention on Climate Change

I appreciate your honesty, Ms. Figueres. But I doubt many of your fellow Marxists do…

Oh, and here are two links that totally destroy the “97% consensus” lie, just in case you’re interested.

Donar and Zimmerman study is statistically worthless.

John Cook study debunked

And while you’re there, be sure to check out the information there about the 18-26 year ‘pause’ in global warming we are experiencing and the 52 excuses (so far) for it.

Wow. What a show! Guests, theater reviews, great calls, more guests, MJ’s awesome Drink of the week….. and Tom.

Excellent discussion in the second hour with Bryan Stascavage, the author of this article from the Wesleyan Argus, and the backlash he and the paper received over it from the Wesleyan University student body.

Great opinion piece and a great example of the lack of tolerance for opposing points of view that is running rampant on today’s college campuses.

We also spoke with Brent Cochran of the Drift Compatible Podcast about his experience at the RedState meeting from which Donald Trump was unceremoniously dis-invited after acting like an ass towards Meghan Kelly on CNN.  (Language warning on Brent’s podcasts.  Luckily he cleaned it up for real radio.)

This week’s drink: Stone Wall

• 1 1/2 teaspoons simple syrup
